Title:
Incorrect input device paths (/dev/event*): no keyboard nor mouse

Status in “udev” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-input-evdev

All input classes in evdev.conf have the following match line:
  MatchDevicePath "/dev/input/event*"
but X reports all my input devices as either /dev/eventN (where N is 1, 2, 3...) or /dev/mouseN.

Suggested fix would be adding other stanzas with
  MatchDevicePath "/dev/event*"

Probably a better fix is appropriate...
