  Ubiquity Installer crashed during 11.10 install

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Install got about 3/4 of the way according to the progress bar...last
  thing i can see is Checking for packages to remove.......11.10 64bit
  install on an HP G61 laptop
