[Bug 830682] [NEW] [GTK3] On launch, main pane is blank for ~2 seconds (no spinner)

Problem occurs with: software-center-gtk3 trunk r2155, Ubuntu Ocelot
Does not occur with: software-center trunk r2155, Ubuntu Ocelot

1. Launch USC.

What happens: The window appears with an empty grey main pane for a
couple of seconds after launch.

What should happen: As with USC 4.x, there should be a spinner centered
in the main pane, to show that it hasn't frozen.

(The "Loading" text used in USC 4.x isn't necessary -- just the spinner
by itself.)
