[Bug 828813] [NEW] ntlm_auth fails to use cached credentials

Public bug reported:

When a user is authenticated against an AD server it is supposed to be
able to use Windows Integrate Authentication for login on NTLM based
websites. This means that the user won't be prompted for a password on
such sites since the cached credentials can be used.

On Linux this is achieved by using the ntlm_auth command which is broken
on winbind from samba 3.4. There is an upstream bug report and official
patch for samba 3.5 here:

https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7589

If possible this should be backported to 10.04 LTS.

** Affects: samba (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
