Bug was fixed. I unelected the option to encrypt my home folder and the
installation was successful.

Bug description:
  I have tried installing both via live cd and usb drive. I have a dvd-
  rw disc and have wiped it and burnt the iso file onto it again. I keep
  receiving the same error.
