Public bug reported:
I've seen bug reports for this problem in Kubuntu but I'm using regular
Ubuntu and having a similar issue. I enabled the "proposed" and
"backports" repositories and now I can't uncheck the "backports" one.
Though it isn't actually showing a check mark on the box, it just fills
it in orange instead of filling it in orange and placing the check
there.
When running "sudo software-properties-gtk" from the command line I get
this message:
WARNING: can not get name for '<CellRendererText object at 0x2ca5d20 (GtkCellRendererText at 0x2e84900)>'
WARNING: can not get name for '<TextBuffer object at 0x2f0d280 (GtkTextBuffer at 0x2891100)>'
Dunno if that's relevant or not.
ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.04
Package: software-properties-gtk 0.80.9
ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.38-11.48-generic 2.6.38.8

Architecture: amd64
Date: Mon Aug 15 00:05:57 2011
EcryptfsInUse: Yes
InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 11.04 "Natty Narwhal" - Release amd64 (20110427.1)
