Un-installing and re-installing Samba did nothing again. Windows still
sees two instances and can't log in to either one.
Ubuntu has no problem logging in.
Back to square one! ... Any ideas what might be causing this?

Bug description:
Before the upgrade to 11.04 Samba and system-config-samba worked just
fine for sharing with the windows machines on my network. Now, at
first this machine did not show up in the workgroup at all. now it
shows up but I can't connect. My XP box says that "The parameter is
wrong" Whatever that means... I tried un-installing and re-installing
Samba and system-config-samba. There was an error. That is how I got
to this report...
