[Bug 433317] Re: after clicking <forward> (to retain the old local conf.) crashed

not much info to chew on in the logs.  My best guess is this might have
something to do with upstart not running at the time this error
occured?!  There are some messages to that effect in the logs.

@all the people affected by this bug, did this ever occur in lucid or
later?
