Of course, this is just a wishlist item and not particularly important.
I'd say there are far more important things to work on (eg making unity
launcher work properly with Java apps or integrating all the missing
settings into the systems settings dialog in Oneiric).

Title:
update-manager no longer shows where it's downloading from
Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Binary package hint: update-manager
Wishlist: Karmic's update-manager doesn't show the source of the
downloads. In Jaunty, you could click on details and it would show
output indicating where it was getting the packages during the update
or upgrade process. In Karmic, 'details' is greyed out.
The advantage for me is that I use a mirror where my download
bandwidth isn't monitored, so I use this to check I'm not accidentally
eating into my monthly quota after having misconfigured my repository
sources.
