  update-manager needs gir1.2-unity-3.0 to run

Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  I didn't have unity installed thus no gir1.2-unity-3.0 and update-
  manager crashed.

  To fix the issue i installed gir1.2-unity-3.0 but i don't think
  update-manager should depend on unity to run.
