Title:
  Update Manager GUI crashes randomly

Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Update-manager GUI is functional but crashes randomly, as such I
simply use apt-get in the CLI instead which functions perfectly. It is
possible to run "Check for updates" with Update Manager and actually
perform upgrades but it's not reliable as the GUI will almost
  certainly crash at some point.
