No problems :-) something like that has happened -- I would say -- to
all of us, at least once...

It seems you built something(s) -- I am not sure what -- and configured
them to install on your home dir. Of course, this is usually a bad idea
;-)

Closing INVALID (not a bug), then. Thank you for your feedback.

  dd: bad operand `--help'

Status in “coreutils” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  
  For dd tool, its not possible to use --version or --help operand, also other things seems broken
  like specifying byte size in mega bytes , stats print out, etc...   Looks broken.
