Hi again Malte. As it turns out, this appears to be the result of a
problem in the archives after all, so these steps will not help.

I have forwarded the info to the folks who can correct the problem, and
will let you know when it has been fixed and you can try again to
download the game.

Once again, thanks for your patience!

And thanks to kiwinote for noticing the archive problem!

Title:
Beep download does not work (Paid game)

Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Dear Canonical, dear community,

yesterday I bought the new game Beep. After I paid for it, I wanted to
install it using the "Install" button in the Ubuntu Software Center.
But I always get an error message and that I shall look, if the
internet connection is put up. This is the error message:

  Failed to fetch https://hidden:hidden@private-ppa.launchpad.net
  /commercial-ppa-uploaders/beep/ubuntu/pool/main/b/beep-game/beep-
game_1.0-0ubuntu3_i386.deb The requested URL returned error: 404

How can it be that the game is not in the repository? I even paid for
  it!

Of course, I do have the PPA in my repository list. And of course my
  Internet connection is stable.

  Best wishes,

  Malte.
