Public bug reported:

[opiet at stewie ~] --> lsb_release -rd
Description:	Ubuntu 11.04
Release:	11.04

[opiet at stewie ~] --> apt-cache policy samba
samba:
  Installed: 2:3.5.8~dfsg-1ubuntu2.3
  Candidate: 2:3.5.8~dfsg-1ubuntu2.3
  Version table:
 *** 2:3.5.8~dfsg-1ubuntu2.3 0

[opiet at stewie ~] -->

I expected samba to install... and then be able to connect to windows shares. It didn't install, and when it was installed previously this morning would connect to any windows shares.

>From what I've been reading, this is a very pervasive problem...
