Under Ubuntu 10.04, after updating syslinux to 4.04, still USB stick not
booting.
Error: No configuration file found
No default or UI configuration directive found

apparently this is also a problem in Lucid: http://www.khattam.info

will try instructions on khattam website, but wanted to create a bug
first, in case others are out there.
[Workaround]
Another solution is to open your USB flash, open filé /syslinux/syslinux.cfg, find the word ui and remove it along with it's following space. Done :-)
