Title:
Installation program crashed due to failure to lock apt

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Ubuntu 11.04
  Ubiquity 2.6.10

During the installation of Ubuntu during the operation "Packages to be
removed are determined" the message "Installation program is crashed"
appears. Afterward Ubuntu is started in the installation environment.

Always when I install Ubuntu the failure appears.

If I reboot the system, Ubuntu starts from the harddisk and it seems
so that Ubuntu works without failures.

I have packed the files syslog and partman because I can only one file
  attach to this report ...
