[Bug 750140] Re: "Log Out" is unhelpfully unavailable in live session

I'm testing the Oneiric Alpha 3 iso-testing image (20110803-i386) and
taking into account bug 815077 this is particularly troublesome because
one need now choose logout and then restart from the upper right hand
corner of the login screen.

Not sure renaming this bug was a good idea though, if a new bug needs
filed just shout.

Some will not be aware of magic key combos and/or cli options to reboot

  1. In a live session, open the session menu.
  2. Choose "Log Out...", and confirm it.

  What happens:
  1. "Log Out" is available.
  2. You're marooned at GDM, with no way to log back in again.

  What should happen:
  1. In the live session, "Log Out" is not available.
