With test of iso image http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/20110803
/oneiric-desktop-amd64.iso when you select shut down from from the
indicator now the system shuts down correctly on both USB persistent and
non persistent key.

Bug description:
  ISO Testing Live Session, selecting shutdown from the indicator it comes back to lightDM.
  Selecting shutdown from lightDM it doesn't shutdown at all.
  Moving to a textual tty and performing a "sudo halt" it start the shutdown but at the end it doesn't turn off the PC.
