Title:
Installer crashed on Eee 900 (something about installing apt from CD?)

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: ubiquity

I was installing Natty A3 on an Eee PC 900 and had told it to download
updates during installs + install codecs/proprietary stuff. After the
install had run for a while (maybe it was at the very end. I don't
know) I got a popup saying something about it being unable to install
apt from CD (I think). I was installling from USB (created with
Unetbootin), there's no CD or other optical drive connected.

After dismissing that message (that's the reason I can't tell for sure
what it said: I don't remember and I can't see the message anymore)
another popup showed up, telling me to file this bug. I hope it is of
help! Thanks for your great work!
