Reassigning to the policykit package as the authentication dialog is
coming from that package.

** Changed in: update-manager
       Status: New => Invalid

** Package changed: update-manager (Ubuntu) => policykit-1-gnome
(Ubuntu)

Title:
  Update manager's authentication request needs fixing

Status in Update Manager:
  Invalid
Status in “policykit-1-gnome” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: update-manager

  Description:	Ubuntu 10.10
  Release:	10.10

  Update manger asks for authentication when a user requests
  installation of updates. The dialogue box that opens fails to
  position the cursor in the input box of the form. This is an
  inconvenience, and other applications seem to have got this right.
  Perhaps a programming standard for the use of this authentication box
  object should be promulgated to all. This needs to be fixed both for
  consistency and good will purposes. It is lousy programming.
