I suggest adding it to Update manager since this runs automatically and
the user sees if frequently. He/She has to seek out Software manager.
A quick-and-dirty fix might be to reference Software manager and its
facilities on the final screen of Update manager, but I did envisage the
history being where people might see it.

Title:
Feature request: Make Update info available after completion.
Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Before an update is approved there is a list of what is proposed,
including the option to browse the background. This is lost after the
update is completed.
I would like to suggest that this material be available for recall
from the update manager pane after updates are complete. At least the
most recent update, but prefereably all the previous ones.
