    Hi all<br>

    I've resolved this issue.    <br>
    <br>
    The issue seems to be that installing "edubuntu-desktop" on top of
    Ubuntu or Xubuntu and then changing the default language seems to
    cause a problem with languages in the Edubuntu packages<br>
    <br>
    In other words....<br>
    <br>
    Ubuntu install (language 1) > "edubuntu-desktop" > switch to
    language 2 = incomplete association of language 2 with edubuntu<br>
    <br>
    Ubuntu install (language 2) > "edubuntu-desktop" = complete
    association of language with edubuntu<br>
