NBD swap on Edubuntu 10.10

Hi All,

I'm trying to enable NBD swap on Edubuntu 10.10.
I have followed this document (I have not updated the client chroot):

I don't see any swap file in tmp folder and on thin client with xterm
I don't see swap space allocated (free command).
I have also tried to create the swap.conf file as per 12.04, but
nothing changes.

Any help?
