Clear kde configuration

Hi, I wish to use a user like template.
So I created a user named 'template', set up kde with all the widget
and settings I need.
Then I tried to remove the .kde/ folde from the other user's home directories;
copied the /home/template/.kde and changed the hownership with the
corrisponding user.

Here I have an unexpected behaviour:
  when I login into kde I get a big amount of popup error messages
  (sorry, i don't have them now, I'll report them as soon as possible).
  Then I tried to remove the .kde again but this time, it doesn't
enter kde at all!
  I don't understung the reason.
  A newly created user has no .kde folder.

Am I missing something related to ltsp?
