Edubuntu 9.10 AMD64 doesn't boot in VBox?

Well you haven't been very specific about any possible error messages 
that might give a clue!  I do recall having to enable PAE/NX under the 
processor options to get the 8.04 server kernel to work in VirtualBox, 
are you running the server kernel too?
