Dear Jim,
If I may horn in here, I run XP in VirtualBox in a production
environment (school) in order to run a single application, QuickBooks.
XP in VirtualBox on a Linux host could be said to run just about
perfectly. I also run multiple Linux servers in VirtualBox on a Linux
host (Gentoo) for the puposes of development and testing, which has
shown me that Linux in VirtualBox could also make a perfectly stable
production Linux server environment. I have tested that with an
Edubunutu LTSP server (hardy), and a Gentoo based OpenAdmin web server.
