LDAP client question

Uhmmm ... so there is a bit of the NIH issue present?  Seems self-defeating
at the very least.

Though ... if the tools are opensource, there really isn't anything to
prevent an end user from trying to make them work and working on getting
them included in whatever universe it is that such things go?  Not sure I
have such skills but just curious.

Thanks!  I'll take a look and see if I can sort it out. If not, I'll just
create about 30 accounts with the same UID/GID as my ldap accounts in the
interim and go from there.  As for questions to the server team ... which
list would that be?
