Monday = no more Internet in localapps????

Thanks for the quick replies Gavin (as always) and Lee.
I did remember to use the the correct dhcpd.conf, but that wasn't the
problem evidently. A district network guy came out today and confirmed that
they had pushed through some network upgrades over the weekend that were
probably responsible for the failures; but last night I torrented the
release candidate of Lucid at home, installed it with the default ltsp
option, added local apps here at school today and tested it just now and the
problem is gone!
I wasn't planning on upgrading to Lucid until after school was out, but this
is as good a reason as any I suspect.
I read about fat client improvements on Stephane's blog a while back so I'm
going to try that out next.

BTW, Lucid is flawless from what little I've seen so far. Looks like we may
have finally gotten that bulletproof release we've all been waiting for.
