Well, I did this.
First I disabled bluetooth. Not sure if that helps, but client passed
that point.
fati386 chroot - /etc/default/bluetooth
# start bluetooth on boot?
# compatibility note: If this variable is not found bluetooth will
# start
BLUETOOTH_ENABLED=0
---
Then I did this.
I added file /etc/startgdm.sh to the fati386 chroot.
/etc/init.d/gdm restart
/usr/sbin/gdm
I borrow that file from here:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuLTSP/LTSPFatClients
Then I updated image:
sudo ltsp-update-image -a fati386 -b /opt/ltsp -p 2001
---
Then I was almost there. When I waited GDM to start I got this:
cdpinger[4287]: segfault at 6f72...
---
This seems to be some kind of bug.

My P4 has no CDROM, no Floppy, no HD.
