Asus Eee PC with 20" Widescreen (1680x1050) works out-of-box, both 
Ubuntu 8.04 and openSUSE 11.

Of course EEe/Xandros can do that, too.

So here we have perfect thin client (cheap, quiet and little), and it 
happens to work as mobile fat client, too.
