microphones on thin clients

Hi,

I recall reading that pulseaudio was capable of two-way sound, eg. sending
sound from the application to the remote speakers and from the remote
microphone to the application.  However, I haven't yet heard of anyone
doing this on LTSP.

As a start, we'd be interested in trying to record audio using audacity or
something similar.  Ideally, it would obviously be nice if VoIP, etc. was
possible, but for now, just a basic recording seems like a start.

Has anyone tried to do this yet?  Any suggestions as to how to go about it?
