7.1.0 server installation issues

You may be OK with a standard Edubuntu workstation, but I don't see a server
running on less than 1GB of RAM.

I have this same experience with 7.10.  The educational packages are easy
enough to install from the net, why don't you have it connected?

I would at least give the box internet access for the install, even if you
decide to disconnect it later.
