ltsp 5 problems

hello everybody. now that my classes are running on a weekly basis, I am
discovering more and more problems.

none of the clients mounts the cd when I insert it into the client. and
obviously they also do not mount usb sticks. I have tested both on the
server and it works ok.

additionally I had two students today, that came with a rather old sony
ericsson telephone and a trekstor mp3 player. both did not work either.
I reckon because they are too old, but given the other problems I have
with "multimedia" the kids are not very happy with the setup.

maybe you have some tips on these issues. would appreciate it.
