Don't hesitate to bash it. This and the k12 list are the best place to discuss educational software, IMHO.
The only thing renlearn has of value is their data on the tests. Why they would choose to build their software on a windows platform is beyond me.
It would make much more sense to use mysql or postgresql on top of apache and or tomcat and support multiple platforms. Keep the cost of entry down and sell their own software instead of Microsoft's.
