Aloha
I am trying to use the smbldap-tools package with Edubuntu 7.10.
Unfortunately, as in 7.04, I get the following error when trying to add
a user
hosef at liho-ltsp-g5:~$ sudo smbldap-useradd
Unable to open /etc/opt/IDEALX/smbldap-tools/smbldap.conf for reading !
Compilation failed in require at /usr/sbin/smbldap-useradd line 32.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/sbin/smbldap-useradd line 32.
I have read the README.Debian file in /usr/share/doc/smbldap-tools, but
if I follow those directions I will be adding smbldap.conf to
/etc/smbldap-tools/. The error suggests that it should be in
/etc/opt/..... I am not sure what to do now.
I know that there is a smbldap installer scripted together here
http://majen.net/smbldap/
But I was trying to configure and manage this server as an 'average'
user might - using only the included packages in the repositories.
Any suggestions?
I'm bleeding
