Is there Open source oftware available for PDAs?

It very much depends on what PDA you're talking about.  The Sharp Zaurus
actually runs linux so there should be plenty of FOSS available.  Many run
WinCE runs on a lot of PDAs but I'm not sure what FOSS is available for
WinCE.  The iPaq runs WinCE but that can often be reinstalled with a linux
distro which is designed for the iPaq.  PocketPC does seem to have some
FOSS available too.

Nokia's N800 tablet runs linux too, thogh I'm not sure you'd call it a PDA.

Honestly, you need to look at specific PDAs and use google to find out
about each one.
