missing Menus

In the account I set up for my kids, I disabled the menus under "System" to
prevent them mucking around with stuff they shouldn't.  However, now I would
like to go back and reconfigure parts of their account.  How do I get access
to the system menues in their accounts, since the command that turns them on
and off was in the system menu in the first place?
