Auto login

Thanks.
The thing is with ldm as the login manager and needed local devices I 
can not use gdm or kdm without losing local devices(atleat from what 
I've tried and read).
Kdm does easy login options ie per-station, timed, unique list etc.
But not LDM yet????  I know if will eventually and I noticed
lts.conf
LDM_REMOTECMD
Maybe though it has this type of capability?
