Package recommendations for 4 yr. old?

I'm exploring the use of edubuntu on an older Gateway laptop for my daughter. I've got it installed OK, but am looking for packages geared for her age level (K4). A lot of the stuff that comes by default or that I can add (such as KDEdu) seem a little tough for her.
She is used to Jumpstart Advanced Preschool, which I've been running on a Win98 VM on my main computer, and she loves that - very immersive.
Anyone setup a simple laptop system for K4 age that can recommend some 'hits' for me to install?
