Fwd: New to Edubuntu

I have a slower internet connection, so a friend of mine is going to
download it and drop it off later this week.

I have one more question, I've been doing some reading on Linux Online
http://www.linux.org/lessons/ and it talked about partitioning your hard
drive before installing Linux.  into swap, /, usr, and home partitions.  THe
author was using Debian Linux for his example, is this also necessary with
Edubunto?

I'll check out those forums too.
