laptop installation

Hello to everyone. Can anybody help me give suggestions to install
Edubuntu in my Toshiba L30-115 model? I tried to install the live CD by
default and also by loading the parameter "boot: live noacpi nolicpi"
but still it does not continue to install. Thank you for helping.
