Running EasyUbuntu on Edbuntu

Hi all,

I have just installed Edbuntu on my daughters standalone PC, with the aim 
that she would be able to use the Educational software provided.  She would 
also like to play music and music videos on it as well.    As the necessary 
codecs are not supplied by default, I have tried to install the programme 
EasyUbuntu.

Problem is Edbuntu seems to be missing some necessary files such as 
subprocess.py.  Has anybody successfully installed EasyUbuntu?
