kde print problems

Hi, I post here this problem I posted before in the users list.

I installed edubuntu 12.04 and installed edubuntu-desktop-kde.
Since I log into kde I get a notification 'an application has crashed
on your system (now or in the past)'
then a new widnows opens with the message
'print program has die'
In details I get
 /usr/share/kde4/apps/printer-applet/printer-applet.py

Any idea how to fix this?
