Server side/Where are clients logs placed?

ok, this is the actual need:
 * sysadmin needs to get some kind of "inventory" about the drivers
being used by each client.

the reason:
 * sysadmin have gotten low "graphic" performance on the client side,
probably because they are using a generic vesa driver or alike.

symptoms and tries:
 * all clients consoles start in red and show no text
 * sysadmin has tried to see text by setting kernel with vga=xxx and
updating clients images with ltsp-update-kernel and ltsp-update-images
but no results :(

Any suggestions will be very appreciated
