Can I test Gusty packages with Edubuntu Feisty?

Hi

Based on Edbuntu Feisty I wrote some fully automated
installation/configuration scripts, which customize Edubuntu for
SchoolNet needs.
This Installation script is configuring LTSP, but also gnome, exim,
shorewall, squirelemail, dns, dailup, imap, nxserver, squid.... and
installs some additional multimedia and educational programs.

Now I happens more and more that we discover bugs in Feisty which will
be fixed in the upcoming version of Gusty.

What is really the differences between Feisty and Gusty based on the
ltsp-support?

I noticed on the Internet most off the work from the Edubuntu developer
is spend on these packages:
   ldm
   ltsp-client (meta package)
   ltsp-client-core
   ltsp-server.

Does these Gusty packages also working together with Edubuntu Feisty?

Why I am asking. I have a slow and expensive Internet connection
(64kByte, isdn-dialup ) which I am using here in Namibia
(http://www.runduopenmarkets.com/RUNDUsitemap.htm) , so I can't just
do a dist -upgrade to Gusty over the Internet ;-(.

But is this really needed? Does these ltsp packages really depend on
special Gusty packages?

I have a Gusty tribe version from 23 July 2007 and some Feisty
repositories on DVDs. But like I already said, until the final version
is out, I would like just do to some testing with the actual Feisty
release and the Gusty ltsp packages ...

Is this possible?

Philipp
