Thanks, I built one alright, but on reflection it looked like I didn't need
to install it.
Perhaps there's something different in your situation, but if an ordinary
user on my feisty system tries to reconfigure things via the network
manager, they get prompted for a sudo password (which will only work for
admins).
I have a manual network/interfaces setup, but presumably so do you so I'm
puzzled as to why this is an issue for you and not me? Any ideas? Have I
missed something and in fact I really do need this?
