Edubuntu LTSP with Netware Authentication

I'm hoping someone out there can help me with this.

I have been trying for th past week to get Edubuntu to authenticate thin clients against a Novell Netware 6.5 server. I have had limited success getting the server itself to authenticate via the /etc/pam.d/gdm file pointing to pam_ncp_auth.so but I cant get home directories to map still.

What am I missing to get the thin clients to authenticate in the same manner?
