I found the solution for working with color depth under 24

    Theres a workaround mentioned, setting:

    export XLIB_SKIP_ARGB_VISUALS=1

    before starting Firefox makes Flash work for me :-)

    Maybe this variable can be set as a default in the Ubuntu firefox 
startscript (/usr/lib/firefox) so other users dont have to cope with     
this...

I have to work with color depth=16 or 15 because my clients are old/my 
terminal server is not the best!
So I set this variable in the firefox startscript.
