Hey Alister,

cc'ed you, because I don't know if you read the list.

If you can wait two weeks, the next version of Edubuntu has two
excellent tools for this job. One is called sabayon and is a graphical
way to create profiles. The other is called Pessulus and is designed
for locking down those profiles.
