Have you tried pushing up the RAM in that vmware machine? 24MB is very
little for an Edubuntu thin client. I would suggest that you at least
double that to 48MB, I'm not sure if an Edubuntu thin client will even
boot properly with less than 32MB. So I suggest you try increase that.
